Itinerary Annapurna Base Camp

Day 1: Pokhara to Chomrong
We will begin our journey with a drive from Pokhara to Jhinu, followed by a short walk to Jhinu Danda, where we will stop for lunch. After a brief rest, we will continue trekking to Chomrong, a beautiful village with stunning views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. At Chomrong, we will have the opportunity to engage with the local Gurung community and experience their rich culture and hospitality. We will stay overnight at Chomrong to rest and prepare for the next day.

Day 2: Chomrong to Himalaya
On the second day, we will set out early, crossing the Chomrong River and climbing uphill through forests. After a 3-hour hike, we will stop for lunch at Bamboo or Upper Dovan before continuing for another 2-3 hours to Himalaya. Along the way, we will be surrounded by the tranquil beauty of bamboo and rhododendron forests. We will stay overnight at Himalaya, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere before the next leg of our journey.

Day 3: Himalaya to Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC)
On the third day, we will make our way toward Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC). After a 2-hour trek to Deurali, we will take a short break to enjoy the views and rest. We will then continue for another 3 hours, ascending to MBC. The trail will offer us awe-inspiring views of the surrounding peaks, and we may even spot wildlife, such as langur monkeys, along the way. We will stay overnight at MBC.

Day 4: MBC to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)
Day four will be the highlight of our trek, as we make our way from MBC to Annapurna Base Camp. Rising early to witness the golden sunrise over the mountains, we will enjoy a 2-3 hour hike to ABC. The panoramic views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machapuchare, and other peaks will be a truly unforgettable experience. We will spend the night at Annapurna Base Camp, reflecting on the beauty and serenity of this remarkable place.

Day 5: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
On the fifth day, we will begin the long journey back, trekking for approximately 8 hours to reach Bamboo. We will retrace our steps through the same beautiful landscapes, passing Deurali and Himalaya, while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the dense forests. We will stay overnight at Bamboo.

Day 6: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
From Bamboo, we will continue our trek to Jhinu Danda, a 5-hour journey. Upon reaching Jhinu Danda, we will take a well-deserved break and relax in the natural hot springs, a perfect way to soothe our tired muscles. The hot springs are a popular spot for trekkers to unwind, and we will stay overnight at Jhinu Danda.

Day 7: Jhinu Danda to Pokhara
On the final day, we will drive from Jhinu Danda back to Pokhara. After the long trek, we will take the day to rest and reflect on our incredible journey. We will also have the chance to explore Pokhara’s vibrant lakeside area, known for its stunning scenery and lively atmosphere. We will stay overnight in Pokhara, cherishing the memories of this unforgettable adventure.

  • Your personal expenses as well as hotel and activities in Pokhara and Kathmandu
  • Beverage drinks on the trek
  • Travel insurance covering emergency high-altitude rescue for both medical expenses and helicopter rescue and evacuation from high altitudes.
  • Travel insurance that pays Tips for guide and porter (it is appreciated)
  • Finally, all of the fees and charges that aren’t included in the section under “What’s Included?”

 How to get from Kathmandu to Pokhara?

There are a variety of transportation options Tourist vehicle / Private Car / Flight for Kathmandu – Pokhara – Kathmandu. If you choose one of them, we can arrange for you.

Things to remember

  • Don’t pick flowers and damage flora
  • Respect wildlife
  • Don’t give anything to children. Though it sounds cruel, it helps to discourage begging culture.
  • Watch your step and don’t walk blindly while taking pictures and photos

  • Don’t make loud noise while trekking
  • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking in high altitude
  • Don’t rush and don’t push your limit in high altitude
